Large damp soil patch; very deep post hole cut into bedrock. Large deep post hole, well cut into bedrock, overlain by a thin soil layer. Layer (1): many small burnt limestone chips and soil matrix. Layer (2): large burnt stones with a small amount of soil matrix. Many stones burnt and one end but not the other. Layer (3): V. large unburnt stones with few chipples and very loamy soil matrix.
