Dark brown soil in a band running along southern edge of G17. Contains many medium stones, and some burnt stones. The layer extends out into the 1982 cutting, and into F17 7626, and contained a ring-headed pin, lying horizontally with a large slab across the top of it. 7401 is the northern side of this layer, but with much less soil in it.t, bone,
