Layer (1): Topsoil
Layer (2): Small-medium rubble and dark brown soil. Below turf a layer of chjipples covered the E slope of the rampart running into ditch, underneath a tumble of large stones then gull. Find: Decorated Pottery, large amounts of bone and flint.
Layer (3): Pink calcified rubble
Layer (4): Small rubble, pale brown soil, red in centre
Layer (5): Large stones
Layer (6): Small rubble in sandy coloured silt (3 leaf arrowheads found)

Posthole. Finds: Leaf arrowhead. Burnt stones on periphery of circle. Posthole cut into gull, horizontal burnt stones on west side and large broken stone on east side dipping west - fill whole side down to the base of rotten rock. On east side 4 or 5 parallel layers of flat stones, covering central stake-hole another stone roughly vertical.

Slab. Large limestone slabs almost on bottom of ditch F1802 at its southern-most terminal below F01802(6). 2 butchered bones found in rubble layer F01802(6) which overlay F01802(7), a dark grey soil and rubble mass, which had been tipped into a sub-rectangular trough cut in the bedrock F01856. The soil may have been ash, and the trough a cremation pit, making the slab a cist.

Neolithic 1b Bank, to W of F01876 and F01877. Much eroded earlier Neolithic bank. Stones rounded, some burning. Much compacted.Might have continued across causeway of 1D bank and also been to West of F01885 but not possible to trace in chipple material. Visible in section to W of F01885. Finds: Flints.
