F01861 L1 Entrance passage between banks. Chipples, rubble? Worn surface. In the north half bank insubstantial, consisting of few large stones. But in the south bank consist of large rubble surviving to 30cms in places, and these stones fallen across the entrance. Many are pitched, may be due to root disturbance. Also the possibility of earlier ditches below. Larger worn stones west of entrance seeming to be at a higher level than the worn material being removed between the banks. A hollow way seems likely.
