F02674 M5, N6 Double posthole? Disturbed layer of broken stone in bedrock surface. The large posthole F02674, (which may even be a treble) is matched across the ditch by F02668 and F02687. the latter did not appear as early as the former. although there are 10 postholes , it is thought the they form two separate groups: A 6-poster in the N.E. and a 4-poster in the S.W. No area suggesting a hearth was found, though F02672 with burned stones and bone at a high level in the ditch, could conceivably be associated with the 6-poster. Much pottery. No contact with ditch fill.
