On excavation, the removal of the uppoer worn stones exposed a bumpy surface of similarly severly weathered large rocks, including expanses of worn bedrock. F16506 is oblong, with axis NW-SE. It is a laid platform with numerous burnt stones and areas of burnt stones. Resembles an occupation platform

Large pitched stones similar to F16506 dip into the area of burnt material, making it appear to be two parallel lines of burning but the burnt stones seem to lie in a round-bottomed trench 0.3m wide.
