Scoop, sealed by F02132, only became apparent when this surface (c. 2 inches all over P98) was removed. The top of the sccop was identified by heavy burning, with upturned and disturbed large stones and many finds (some burnt) on the surface. Many finds were recovered, the majority of which was bone, with 1 pot rim. Some of the bone fragments came from a skull. This was initially thought to be from a sheep or goat, but it may be that they are human in origin.
