F06417 X94 Gully. Comment: surface indication was a belt of burnt chipples. These overlay an in fill of medium rock lumps, of which some were burnt. This feature seems to be a gully. It utilises the natural line of the bedrock slabs which tip into the major gull to the S. The gully reappears in the side slope of the Causewayed ditch F05520 i.e. it seems to cut the infill of the ditch. (The infill being of collapsed bank of Causewayed ditch. The F05520 section(1983) touches the line of this gully but no trace of the gully is visible in the section probably because the gully would have in any case presented a horizontal layering appearance therefore not recognisable as a gully.
