Cutting misses off NE corner. Conventionally planned to Plan 4, then off grid (i.e. grid rotated to match axis of Long Mound). Plan 1 & 2 very poor hand scan only. Plan 3 replaced by plans 3a-3c (see below). Plan 4 inked only. Beyond this, consider with V98 and W97. NW corner beyond cross-baulk, named LMA - see W97. Plans 3a-3c present in parts show either side of Long Mound (different areas). Overlay to Plan 4 split into N and S, not inked. Thereafter, cutting planned as LMB (Centre and SW flank of mound) and LMC (NE flank of mound). A separate, ill-defined, ‘special area’ appears to be the central area of V98. Plan 4a hand for LMB OK, poor scan of hand version for LMC. Plan 5 only for E of mound (LMC approx) and an unlabelled V98-U98 2x6m rectangle. Plan 6 LMB area only, a terrible hand scan and a good overlay. LMB Plan 7 hand only. Feature Plan - a good whole area plan for V97-V98-W97-W98 exists in hand - there are smaller Feature Plans too, but everything is on the main one. Other plans - ‘special area’ plans look around plan 8. There is a plan of F09658 which is around LMB. LMC has a plan 9. Bad scan of a hand plan of V98-V99-W98 can’t be read. High quality LMC 4a plan doesn’t match other plan 4’s.
