On lifting turf large no. of stones revealed - Recent quarry ?? Spoil tip spill ?? with associated top soil mixed in (see 5666). Very probably base of 1976 spoil tip - presence of large/ medium rubble and dark top soil suggest this. On removal revealed Plan 1 level (- top of F05675). Not a feature.

Layer (1): Post pipe - fill of mid brown soil with little pea grit. Layer (2): Post pipe packing. Disturbed area had principally stones with a little soil, edges poorly defined.
